RIDA acquires a 137-acre tract at the I-4 interchange, strategically located in the growth corridor of Orlando’s renowned attractions. Overtime, ChampionsGate blossoms to a 3,500-acre master planned community.

RIDA initiates development of ChampionsGate
ChampionsGate, FL continues to be a premier, award-winning master-planned community, with over $3 billion in completed development.
1999
RIDA opens ChampionsGate Golf
The ChampionsGate Golf Club, located in the stunning ChampionsGate community near Orlando, Florida, offers an unparalleled golfing experience with its world-class facilities and exceptional design. RIDA initiates development of ChampionsGate
ChampionsGate Golf opens, Two 18 hole courses The International and the National Course designed by Greg Norman. The 36 holes of world-class golf at ChampionsGate were designed to offer golfers a blend of traditional and modern elements, creating a truly unique experience, and one of the best golf courses in Orlando, Florida. In addition to championship golf, the resort also features 18-holes of miniature golf.
2004
RIDA opens Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate
RIDA develops an Omni resort as the anchor to ChampionsGate, Florida, the largest hotel, resort, and condominium complex to be built in the United States following 9/11.
2006
RIDA opens the Villas at ChampionsGate
